SOS Women & Youth Committee held an exclusive Hi-tea buffet for Merdeka Seniors of AWWA Senior Community Home at Club@52 on Aug 7.
The event featured an array of activities, including songs, games and quizzes in honour of Singapore’s 58th year of independence. The 52 participants sang along with iconic national day numbers and had rounds of bingo sessions, where they won an assortment of prizes, adding excitement to the fun-filled afternoon.
The celebration was further enriched with a polaroid photo session, capturing moments of joy and laughter. Lucky draws added an extra layer of anticipation, and as a final touch, each resident received a commemorative goodie bag, thoughtfully assembled by volunteers, as a memento of the special day.
Not forgetting the seniors who were unable to attend the event, SOS’s volunteers went down to AWWA Senior Community Home and to deliver the goodie bags to them.
