IMDA sharing & SOS Members’ Night: Smart learning meets festive cheer

More than 130 SOS members rounded-off the year with learning, laughter and celebration at the IMDA Sharing & SOS Members’ Night on Dec 20, held at Club@52. The evening began with an engaging sharing by Digital Ambassadors from IMDA’s SG Digital Office, who guided members on becoming more digitally savvy in managing their personal health.

Through practical demonstrations of government health apps such as HealthHub, members learnt how to access healthcare services with ease— from viewing health records and managing appointments to checking bills, prescriptions and making online payments. The session empowered members to take greater ownership of their health in an increasingly digital world.

Following the sharing, members continued with a festive Members’ Night, where the venue was
transformed into a Winter Wonderland to mark the year-end celebrations. A sumptuous, Christmas-inspired buffet awaited, featuring crowd-pleasers such as ribeye steak, baked salmon in prawn bisque, oxtail stew, log cakes, just to name a few. The lively programme was hosted by emcee Chubby and featured entertainment, including a magic show by Ian True Vine Magic, live band performance by Pianistar and appearances by Santa Claus, who spread Christmas cheer
among members.

The night concluded with a much-anticipated Lucky Dip, ensuring everyone went home with a prize and happy memories. Blending meaningful digital learning with festive fun, the event was a fitting and memorable way for SOS members to end the year on a high note.
