To facilitate the transaction, Seacare Compass Blairgowrie Limited (SCBL) was incorporated specifically to acquire the property. The move reflects Seacare’s continued commitment to building a sustainable and value-driven international hospitality portfolio.
Located in the scenic market town of Blairgowrie in Perthshire, The Angus Hotel is a well-established 90-room property set near the River Ericht and surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Angus Glens. Known for its comfortable accommodation and welcoming atmosphere, the hotel serves leisure travellers, families, tour groups and corporate guests visiting this picturesque part of Scotland.
The hotel features practical, well-maintained en-suite rooms alongside a range of leisure amenities, including an 11-metre indoor swimming pool, steam room, Finnish sauna and treatment facilities. Dining is offered at the Bay Tree Bar & Restaurant, while a dedicated function and conference room with capacity for up to 150 guests supports meetings, private events and group gatherings.
Blairgowrie’s proximity to outdoor attractions such as the Cateran Trail, Glenshee hills and several renowned golf courses positions the hotel as a convenient base for exploring Perthshire’s natural landscapes and country estates.
