Each year, Seacare and SOS bring the Mid-Autumn spirit to life in the heart of the community. As part of its annual initiative, mooncakes were distributed to residents in the Jalan Kukoh and Chin Swee neighbourhoods, in collaboration with the Residents’ Networks (RNs).
The distribution has become a familiar tradition that residents look forward to each year. It offers a small moment of festivity and connection, especially for seniors and families who appreciate being part of the celebration in their own neighbourhoods.
Organising Chairperson Kathryn Ang joined the effort, personally handing out mooncakes and spending time with residents. Her visit added a warm, personal touch to the outreach and reflected the genuine connections that had been built between Seacare, SOS and the community.
The mooncakes were well received by residents, who appreciated the thoughtful gesture and the chance to share in the season’s spirit with their neighbours.
