20 students from Holy Innocents High School had the opportunity to go on a Learning Journey to The Seacare Hotel on 16 January 2020. Organised by the Singapore National Co-operative Federation with the support of Seacare Co-operative, these students were given a glimpse of the hospitality business of the Co-operative.
Staff of The Seacare Hotel gave them a tour around both the front and back of the house, enabling them to learn about things such as room key assignments, and the tracking of check-in/check-out. Additionally, students also had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as housekeeping. The tour ended with a delectable lunch at Vista Restaurant and Grill.
This journey provided a mind-and-heart engaging and multi-sensory learning experience.
