On 30 January 2020, SOS, Seacare, and Chip Eng Seng Group hosted its annual Chinese New Year lunch at Red Star restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year with Jalan Kukoh residents. About 400 senior residents from Jalan Kukoh attended the lunch and were thoroughly entertained by the caishens, performances, and Mediacorp artistes Mr Richard Liu and Ms Lin Mei Jiao.

Between 23 December 2019 to 17 January 2020, 15 experienced Ratings were trained by the Singapore (Nantong) International Maritime Institute (SNIMI), in Nantong, China, to communicate effectively in English to minimize potential misunderstandings and miscommunication with other team members onboard vessels.

The Suites Hotel & Spa was successfully acquired on 23 December 2019. The Management Team (UK Hotels) made a site visit to the hotel on 8 January 2020, to view the various rooms and facilities. They were warmly welcomed by Compass Hospitality (UK) and Ms Lindsay Tyer, General Manager of the hotel.
