SOS brought the maritime community together in Manila for its Partners’ Networking Party on Nov 7, welcoming 180 guests from 50 shipping and manning companies, alongside industry associates and long-time partners in the Philippines.
Hosted at Patio Victoria — known for its old-world charm and elegance — the evening was a celebration of partnership, collaboration, and a shared commitment to the seafaring community. Guests were welcomed into a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a buffet dinner, drinks and live acoustic music setting the tone for connection. As the evening unfolded, guests moved easily between tables, sharing updates and exchanging ideas. Brief opening remarks and
a welcome address framed the purpose of the gathering, after which ample time for networking followed. Light-hearted, emcee-led moments added warmth, helping to break the ice and encouraging introductions and idea-sharing among company representatives, manning agencies and partners.

Throughout the night, conversations reflected both the strength of existing relationships and a shared openness to future collaboration. The strong turnout and lively exchanges reaffirmed the value of meeting in person. Building on the energy and insights shared, SOS looks ahead to deepening these partnerships through more intentional and focused engagements in the years ahead.

SOS remains committed to deepening its partnerships in the Philippines, with more initiatives and collaborative opportunities planned to strengthen support for seafarers and the wider maritime sector.
