Sos supports Education and Family Bonding

SOS organised a heartwarming event on 21 Dec to celebrate the recipients of the Study Grant Award and Education Assistance Fund, as well as their parents.

The event began with a welcome note by Vice President Mohamad Abu Bakar, who commended the recipients’ dedication and achievements,

“Your dedication inspires us all, and we are proud of your accomplishments.”

A total of 55 Study Grant Awards and 18 Education Assistance Fund grants were disbursed across various categories, from primary school to tertiary institutes of higher learning. To make the occasion special, recipients and their families were treated to a screening of Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King”, complete with popcorn and drinks.

Following the movie, attendees enjoyed a buffet lunch before embarking on a self-guided tour of the Changi Experience Studio at Jewel Changi Airport. Extending their commitment to community service, SOS also invited residents from the Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home to partake in the day’s festivities, fostering inclusivity and joy.

The event not only celebrated academic excellence but also strengthened family bonds and reaffirmed SOS’s dedication to supporting education.
