SOS Women & Youth committee members Chen Chuanyi and Shirley Lai attended the closing session of the Conversations on Singapore Women’s Development on September 18, which wrapped up a series of engagements and conversations aimed at engaging Singaporeans on important issues for crafting national policies.
The virtual event, graced by PM Lee as the guest of honour, was attended by more than 270 participants who had contributed their feedback and recommendations to further empower, protect and uplift women in Singapore. These proposals will be presented in a White Paper in 2022.
